We were back at one of our most popular venues Healey Barn for a scorcher of a day for Laura & Dales wedding. The beautiful sun had peeked its head out after days of rain and despite Dales Tweed suit making it slightly extra hot, we had the most perfect day! With the cutest visit from Ellie their springer spaniel for a run in the fields, emotional speeches, handmade pizzas and some superb dance moves. These two love for each other shone throughout every moment!
We have so much love for this beautifully styled and chilled day with Jess & Tom as Doxford Barns. You know when a brass band follows you out of a confetti exit, that it's going to be a good wedding!
In a stunning Hermione De Paula dress, the bride's smile and the grooms weren't removed once throughout the day at the beautiful Doxford Barn's venue. After days of rain, the sun roared out of the sky bringing it's heat onto the guests who danced with the brass band "Back Chat Brass' and played lawn games until they were led in by trumpets, saxophones and drums.
With laughed filled speeches and mouth watering BBQ, guests were led into a night of Irish dancing by the wonderful Irish London band 'The Reels', getting everyone kicking their legs and spinning in circles.
Such beautiful chilled and happy perfection from start to finish!
Wow, where to start with Sarah & Nihad's day?! So many emotions!!
Set at the stunning Newton Hall, they went for an amazing private letter reading in the morning before the ceremony, where they hid on either side of a wall and read each others letters. This is usually a tradition over in America but I think Sarah & Nihad have made it a tradition over here now as look how emotional and amazing it can be!
Then we had the most gorgeous walk down the aisle as the Brides father battled for a whole year after a stroke to be able to walk again so he could guide his daughter down the aisle to her groom. We're not crying, you are!
Amongst a dramatic windy day, we got a rain free walk along the gorgeous beach in Newton by the Sea, where Sarah & Nihad let loose and ran across the shore - how freeing!
With some of the most amazing words put together, the speeches added an extra touch of perfection, with happy and loving laughs sprinkled throughout!
Then we come to a beautifully choreographed dance to Ed Sheehan amongst plumes of smoke and bombs of confetti as their band Hip Hop Hooray jumped into a Beyonce showstopper. *Happy Sigh* these touches of perfect details added to this perfect day!
Jonny & Rebecca celebrated their love with their gorgeous daughter, family and friends at the stunning Healey Barn.
We haven't seen a more emotional or beautiful groom reaction as his daughter and bride walked down the aisle, we even had 'dust' in our eyes too.
Though it rained all day, we got beautiful pockets of stillness to walk around the grounds and the skies stayed clear for the most stunning sparkler celebration.
The smiles stayed on the Brides & Grooms faces all day and rightly so, we loved having such a chilled and fun day with these two!
In the stunning grounds of Lartington hall, Jade & John got married in a beautiful chapel style room within the venue. There was an emotional reading from the brides little brother and a touching candle light ceremony, that showed the couples love perfectly.
Celebrations continued in the stunning Grand Ballroom with emotional speeches and dance moves to the best club music out there that showed they knew how to throw a party!
Katherine & Chris had a beautiful autumnal wedding as the ceremony took place in at their beautiful hometown church. The celebrations continued at the Derwent Manor in Allensford with stunning autumnal DIY decorations that were sprinkled across the venue.
With emotional and beautiful speeches, including a Sky Sports video shoutout, there wasn't a dry eye in the place.
You won't see a more happy bride dancing in a dress fit for swooshing and spinning than Katherine! With a circle of friends waving indoor sparklers at their first dance to 'All I want is You - Barry Louis Polisar' the floor was lit up with smiles and magic - which continued until the early hours.
We had the pleasure of flying over to Ireland to spend the day with Tomas & Katriona and their family. Starting out in Katriona's hometown where she grew up in Augher in Northern Ireland, they had a beautiful autumnal church wedding with a hurling stick guard of honour greeting them on their exit. A beautiful coffee cart awaited all the guests outside the church to warm up before heading down to the reception in the South of Ireland in Mohill.
We reached Lough Rynn Castle just as the sun descended and were greeted inside with roaring fires, hot toddy's and the sound of the Irish uilleann pipes. Beautiful speeches and an irish band played out the night with plenty of irish jiving.
Absolute loved traveling back to Alice's homeland and getting a slice of a beautiful Irish wedding.
Laura & Lee's wedding had so much stunning wherever you looked, it was like a fairytale. Situated at the lovely Newton Hall, they celebrated with their adorably cute daughters, family and friends. This was one of the last hot days of the year and the sun shined all day, making a beach walk a dreamy moment. With entertainment through the meal & at night, flowers sprouting everywhere, plenty of confetti and superb dance moves, this wedding was all kinds of perfect.
The beautiful Ayesha & Michael had a beautifully emotional wedding ceremony and reception at Healey Barn with their daughter, family & friends. The Sun was out all day, having guests mingle in the stunning courtyard with fire pits, sparklers and marshmallows. Michael (from Bennett Media) also played with his band on the night time to get the dance moves going, ending the night with a bang. With a surprise pregnancy announcement to close friends and family, this made the day extra special for all.
Jess & Luke had a emotional ceremony and reception at the new venue in South Causey Inn - the Old Barn. Filled with twinkly lights, flowered trees and DIY gin bottle table trinkets the setting was Pinterest worthy! Jess & Luke's love for each other was apparent through the day with lots of family and friends surrounding and celebrating them on a beautiful summers day.
The gorgeous Lynsey & Steven celebrated their love with their children, family and friends at the stunning Old Barn at South Causey.
The Sun was shining on their day with lots of confetti, continuous smiles and plenty of dancing to Michael (from Bennett Media) playing out their night with his guitar. Such a lovely couple to get to film, with a whole bunch of love for each other shining all day.
Vicky and Andy's love for eachother and for Sunderland Football club got combined together for this fun filled wedding at the football teams ground, the Stadium of Light. Vicky & Andy are both so chilled and effortlessly cool and you can see how much they love spending time with each other and just want to have a good party with all their loved ones and that they did. Vicky & Andy got married in St.Mary's Church in Blackhill and then lead the party in a Volkswagen campervan to the Stadium of light with plenty of music, laughs (smoke bombs) and dancing.
This was a bit of a special wedding as the Groom Phil was Michael's brother, making Michael also the best man on the day, so filming this wedding was going to be a bit different than usual.
With Michael tartened up in a kilt and Alice in high heels as wedding guests, filming this beautiful scottish wedding in St.Andrews was a challenge, although is there no lovelier thing that to get to film all the people you love on such a happy day? The church ceremony was in beautiful little church in Crail, where the Bride Nicole had a holiday home and so it held great sentimental value. All of the family and friends stayed up in Crail and partied on in a beautiful festoon lit barn with shabby chic aspects glittered around to add a bit of DIY creativity to the already gorgeous venue. With ice-cream vans, mini golf course (made by the grooms father) and Irn Bru favors, the wedding was filled with lots of little details to reflect the couple. Ending with a great wedding band, lots of Cèilidh's and other unknown dance moves, the day was truely one to remember.
Where to even start with this dreamy french wedding? We had the pleasure of flying over to one of our favorite cities, Paris to film a romantic and stylish wedding at Château de Bourron in Fontainebleau, just outside Paris. Laura & James got to celebrate after 7 years of being together with their gorgeous daughter and closest family and friends. Although the rain descended upon the breathtaking Chateau throughout the day before a beautiful sunset; Laura & James got to make their emotional and personal vows outside in the serenely calm gardens just before the sparkling downpour. Guests celebrated with delicate french cuisine and champagne in the 17th Century Chateau's array of rooms with heart touching speeches, before trickling down to a secret basement for the party. Oh boy was it a party! The Band The Imaginations sang all night to a whirl of dancing, confetti, delicious profiterole wedding cake, champagne fountains and lots more dancing. It was a dream come true to film in such a spectacular venue and to celebrate such a fabulously in love couple.
Where to start with this one? Amber & Peter oozed so much love, fun and laughs during their wedding that we ended up staying until the lights were turned off in their marquee in the early hours. They got married in the lovely St.Marys church in Blackhill and proceeded away from the church in a vintage convertible onto the Derwent Reservoir where Amber's Grandad used to work and where the question was popped. They had taken over the Emmaus Youth Village and built a marquee on the top of a hill that looked across the whole Derwent Valley - just stunning. The work put into every little detail in their DIY wedding venue added to the beauty of the day. Not only did we film and photograph the day but Michael also played with his band in the nighttime for their ultimate dancing music and boy did people dance! You can see from the film itself the fun and love had during this amazing wedding day!
We instantly fell in love with these guys who invited us in so warmly to their day. Laura & Andrew are so obviously in love, it kept tears in our eyes throughout the day and even in the editing process. The sun popped out at the perfect time to shine on the beautiful Mediterranean feeling garden of Le Petite Chateau (palm trees included) with perfectly chosen music, cocktails and laughter filling out through the day. With giggles, constant smiling and a lots of happy tears (ourselves included) these guys ended with dancing to a whole new level with the ultimate playlist, coordinated with fly moves and singing that has us dancing along. You'll want to be best friends with these guys after seeing them together, we certainly do!
This was possibly the most perfect wedding venue we've seen with a beautiful old priory church encased by a tranquil woods and river. With a few steps from the church a tipi reception sat perfectly by the river with twinkly fairy lights, amazing hanging wild flowers and a cozy fire amongst the beautiful details Laura planned so perfectly. The day was filled with stunning food, northern soul dance class, colourful smoke bomb walks and of course more dancing.
Becky and Adrian's beautiful winter wedding at Lumley castle was filled with scents of mulled wine, Harry Potter themed trinkets, lots of twinkling Christmas trees and plenty of ballroom dancing.
